Sometimes in Adobe Photoshop you run into a problem where you cannot save a file as a .PNG. The option seems to have disappeared and or is not there anymore. One method of solving this problem is to save your file using a different program and then re-opening it in Adobe Photoshop. Then you can save it as a PNG. Good luck!
Also, another work around is to Save the file for “Web & Devices” in the File, Save menu.
